Spring is here. Great weather and favorable wind conditions have kept us very busy over the last week. This weekend promises to be spectacular. Not only are we getting great weather, the Otter migrates north from Florida to its summer home at Atlanta Skydiving Center. Be sure to keep checking our calendar for all kinds of skills camps and boogies this summer.
Safety Day
Weather couldn’t hold back the hard core who stuck around for the March 14th evening Safety Day Spectacular. Presentations on Aircraft, Free Fall, Canopy, and Emergency Procedures gave the crowd a chance to refresh their skydiving minds with a lot of great information. It is encouraging to see so many people listening and discussing safety. Thanks to all of our staff who helped with Safety Day 2009. Mark Kalupa, “Fast” Eddie, Kenny Pugh, Ted Ganger, and, of course, Lance Frazier, who organized the event. After the presentations, the group enjoyed a cookout sponsored by the drop zone.

Belly Jam 2009 Skills Camp #1
March 28th and 29th ASC welcomes back the first full weekend of the Otter with a belly flying skills camp organized by Mr. Nate Fisher. This will be a chance for those people who have graduated from Accelerated Free Fall to go further down the rabbit hole refining the skills that they possess now.
This group is not limited to just the novice. We encourage all skydivers to come out and enjoy a great opportunity to meet new friends, be on great skydives, and be a part of the action at Atlanta Skydiving Center.
